Attention: cuteness alert!
Let me start by saying that my daughter, Willow, is probably the sweetest child on the face of the Earth. I don't know where she got it, but she alone can put a smile on even the most sullen of faces. Get used to me raving about her beauty and overall loveable-ness, because I promise to write about her a lot as she is exactly one half of my inspiration for living (my son is the other half of course).
So anyway, out of the blue, Miss W runs up to me and asks, "Mommy, we take pitchers?" Taken aback, I clarify, "You want to do a photoshoot?" and she confirms (in her own precious way) "Yes, a phoboshoo." Um, DUH kid! OF COURSE we can! (Can you imagine how excited I was? Thrilled is an understatement.)
I let her help choose an outfit and asked her to stand against her bedroom wall. I had the idea for awhile to get shots of her with the plain backdrop and was all too thrilled when she actually stood still for a few minutes so I could snap some keepers. We spent about 45 minutes practicing her posing (she still needs work, but she's making strides!) and then I got to work.
Ready to see?
I know that I am completely biased, but isn't she just GORGEOUS?!?! She was such a great model. Since this happened, she has started asking to take pictures often, she has been singing non-stop and begging to start Dance Class. I have been considering taking her to a child modeling agency, but that idea scares me a bit. I just cannot believe how grown up she is already. She is at least a head taller than other kids her age, and seriously will not stop growing (Darn her)!
I just am so thrilled with the result from this shoot. I'm starting to visualize the final product before I start shooting in a much more creative way than ever before. And between you and me, I am having so much fun jumping back into my artistic roots.
I hope you enjoyed my share! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think!
BIG LOVE, ALL!
